David had been representing pro audio and lighting products since 1978 and founded The D.L. Henderson Company in 1991. His prior experience came from being a musician and sound engineer. He was involved in all aspects of the business with emphasis on high-end recording, home theater, installed sound, audio for video, touring and lighting. David was the recipient of numerous personal achievement awards for service to the industry. A longtime member of NAMM and NSCA, he also served on various rep councils for vendors providing valuable feedback from his years of experience. David sold the company to Jon and John in 2022, and tragically passed in 2025. A dedicated family man, friend, and incredible mentor, David’s legacy lives on with The Henderson Company.
